Abstract

Dabo Domo is an immersive training experience on arts for childhood that occurs throughout one week. It ends up on a performance in which each trainee presents short music-theatrical scenes dedicated to infants and toddlers. The training includes personal development mediated by voice and movement work; musical improvisation and transdisciplinary creation in a collaborative work setting; live observation of models of artistic interaction with babies; theoretical background and reflection about experiences taking place; personal guidance and coaching helping “clusters of trainees” to build up their own "artistic house" (domo), which integrates a collective performance situation. The first edition of Dabo Domo occurred in the magnificent Lisboa’s Gulbenkian gardens on 2017
