Abstract

Mapping the medieval romance (as language and poetic form) in the perspective of
globalization implies a deterritorialization of the very concepts through which we
try to grasp the specificity of this literature and an effort to invest themes, topoi and structuring notions of the medieval narrative with new meanings: a double shift
whose poetic, cultural and theoretical issues are a real challenge for literary studies.
