Abstract

Comparison is made between the therapeutic and cosmetic results and the side-effects of two series of patients suffering from basal-cell carcinoma and treated by cryosurgery. Also based in published data, the authors conclude that this should be considered as one of the therapeutic modalities of choice for this type of skin cancer.
