Abstract
O presente artigo debruça-se sobre a forma como os contos tradicionais de animais de diferentes países lusófonos podem contribuir para a aquisição de aprendizagens interculturais em crianças do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Os principais objetivos deste estudo são: promover a sensibilidade à diversidade cultural em alunos do 1.º CEB através de contos tradicionais; descrever a influência dos contos de animais dos países lusófonos em aprendizagens interculturais destes alunos; analisar a importância dos contos de animais para a motivação na aprendizagem; desenvolver atitudes de respeito pelo Outro; desenvolver atitudes de respeito pelo meio ambiente. Os contos tradicionais alimentam a imaginação dos leitores e abrem espaços simbólicos para que estes se possam compreender a si mesmos e ao mundo que os rodeia. A opção metodológica desenvolvida foi a investigação-ação, onde o investigador dá especial importância à prática e à reflexão, identificando problemas e planeando estratégias para os ultrapassar.
This article focuses on the analysis of how traditional animal tales from different Lusophone countries can contribute to the acquisition of intercultural learning in children of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education.
