Abstract
Constant current method (CCM) is a new method that measures hysteresis loops in ferroelectric polymers. It requires voltage measurement and does not require current or charge amplifiers. Furthermore, unlike in the Sawyer-Tower method, no electric noise is generated. The CCM setup consists of a constant current supply lead connected to the sample electrode. The application of CCM with biaxially stretched polyvinylidene fluoride ferroelectric materials is studied.
