Composite Procedures In The SSM And SRM - An Analytical Overview

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

This Chapter offers an overview of the concept of composite administrative procedure, a form of multilevel administrative cooperation that is not new in the European Union but which is unusually present in the Single Supervisory Mechanism and in the Single Resolution Mechanism. After setting out the essential distinctive features of the composite administrative procedures of the Banking Union, and distinguishing them from related forms of multilevel administration in the areas of bank supervision and resolution, the Chapter briefly illustrates and discusses some of the most important composite procedures in the two areas.
