Abstract
Esta comunicação consiste numa análise comparativa de sequências de dois filmes – “O Processo do Rei“ (João Mário Grilo, 1989, Portugal) e “El Spíritu de la Colmena” (Victor Erice, Espanha, 1973) de um ponto de vista da mise en scène. Procura-se compreender o modo como os estilos dos cineastas configuram – ainda que de formas diferentes – uma mesma paisagem que é simultaneamente física, cultural e artística. Esta análise será mediada pelo conceito de memória, mostrando como as memórias são determinantes para a configuração de diferentes valores veiculados pelo filme e, consequentemente, para uma mudança de paradigma do valor da arte.
In this paper an attempt will be made to understand how memory - and memories -,assembled by movie pictures and noticed by spectators, become decisive to shape different values in daily life. To accomplish this task we will compare some sequences of the films O Processo do Rei (João Mário Grilo, 1989, Portugal) and El Spíritu de la Colmena (Victor Erice, Spain, 1973). Moreover, this is also a contribution to the comprehension of artistic practices – particularly film –, and its decisive influence on changing the paradigm of art’s values.
