Abstract
Analysis of the contribution of human capital to economic growth in Portugal, comparing two periods: 1950-1973 and 2000-2022. The thesis we defend focuses on the need to consider the level of technological complexity as a relevant variable to understand that the relationship between human capital and economic growth is not linear.
