Abstract
Este texto pretende apresentar a obra de Natália Nunes (1921-2018) e explicar a razão do seu silenciamento, por grande parte da crítica literária. Analisar-se-á o seu romance Regresso ao Caos, de 1960, que é simultaneamente uma alegoria da criação artística e uma denúncia do universo cultural português e da forma como as mulheres eram discriminadas.
This text seeks to present the work of Natália Nunes (1921-2018) and explain the reason for her silencing by most literary criticism. It will analyse her novel Regresso ao Caos (Return to Chaos), of 1960, which is an allegory of artistic creation and at the same time a denunciation of the Portuguese cultural universe regarding the manner in which women were discriminated.
