T1 - Business process management software selection: two case studies

N2 - The interest in business processes management (BPM) is intense among practitioners and scholars and is still growing. Many business process management software (BPMS) tools that are used to serve a variety of applications in BPM are on the market and it is quite difficult to select the appropriate one. The paper presents a flexible method for BPMS selection, which can be applied in different companies and for various project types because the selection criteria are connected to project goals and critical success factors. The method has been developed on the basis of relevant literature and practical experience in BPM projects. It is based on Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The applicability of proposed method is demonstrated with two case studies that are also used to analyse and discuss it.
