Abstract
This text aims to show an starting point for the postdoctoral research I pretend to carry out for next three years (2016-2018) by focusing on Lisboa, Porto (Portugal) and Barcelona (Catalonia). In the particular case of the Catalan capital, my reseach will based on critical urban geopolitics and popular geopolitics as well. This manuscript explores how Barcelona ruling classes have carried out a social, moral, and political higienization in the neoliberal urban night of Barcelona, paying also attention to how marginal noninstitutional actors have deployed a significant number of practices of resistance and/or resilience. In this sense, this text shows a first elaborated manuscript about the urban night of the ‘willed’, the ‘unwilled’ and the ‘perilious’ in neoliberal Barcelona.
