Abstract

The growth of cyber-physical systems in the context of smart homes and the Internet of Things (IoT) offers an opportunity to specify and develop useful applications to different purposes, based on data acquired remotely and supported by data science algorithms. This article aims to present a contribution for the development of solutions for monitoring and prediction of energy and water consumption in smart homes, which can be used, for example, by households to visualize, monitor and optimize their consumption, as well as reduce costs.
