Abstract
This paper aims to identify regularities of the order of narration and the order of exposition in texts of scientific dissemination. It takes as starting point the training action Promoting Scientific Literacy in School Context and it is based on the principles of Sociodiscursive Iteatiois’sà I“Dà theoetialà faeokà Bokat,à [997]à 999.à Ità pesents a qualitative descriptive textual analysis of eight texts (see corpus of the Project for the Promotion of Scientific Literacy), two of each of the following scientific areas: History, Astronomy, Medicine, Biology. Results show that the order of exposition occurs associated to the central theme and to the purpose of the text, that is, the dissemination of current scientific data/information. The occurrence of the order of narration is more regular in History texts and it is specially privileged whenever historical facts and/or previous investigations are presented, either contextualizing or complementing the current scientific information. Thus, occurrences in the order of exposition and in the order of narration seem to be determined by thematic contents which, in turn, are regulated by the social activities of the scientific domains to which the texts are associated.
