Abstract
O presente artigo tematiza a problemática da disciplinarização da literatura angolana, tendo em conta três eixos: 1. a instauração de novas narrativas legitimadoras; 2. o funcionamento do campo literário e do sistema educativo; 3. a legitimação e canonicidade da literatura angolana. A consagração disciplinar é abordada numa perspetiva histórica cujo pressuposto assenta na necessidade de interpretar as consequências políticas do processo de descolonização de Angola. A partir daí é possível compreender que
os fundamentos da institucionalização do novo sistema educativo e o reconhecimento tardio da literatura angolana como disciplina escolar e académica, à luz das conexões que estabelece com o campo político, enquanto conjunto de obras literárias representativas de uma comunidade histórica multicultural.
This article discusses the issue of Angolan literature disciplinarization, tak-ing three axes into account: 1. the establishment of new legitimating narratives; 2. the functioning of the literary field and the educational system; 3. the legitimation and canonicity of Angolan literature. Disciplinary consecration is approached from a histor-ical perspective whose assumption is based on the need to interpret the political con-sequences of Angola’s decolonization process. From there, it is possible to understand the foundations of the institutionalization of the new educational system and the late recognition of Angolan literature as a school and academic subject, in light of the con-nections it establishes with the political field, as a set of literary works representative of a multicultural historical community
