Abstract

O artigo apresenta um contrato registado num livro de tabelião do século XVII, entre o autor de três livros que os queria imprimir e o tipógrafo que se dispunha a realizar o trabalho. Os seus termos estabelecem um acordo para a impressão das obras, nomeadamente o seu custo, a forma de distribuição das despesas e dos lucros, bem como a forma de processamento dos pagamentos.

The article presents the seventeenth century’s contract registered in a notary’s book, from the author of three books that he wanted to print and the printer who was willing to do the work. Its terms establish an agreement for the printing works, including its cost, the form of distribution of costs and profits, as well as the form of payment processing.
