Financial support of FCT.IP. Project "PASEV: Patrimonialization of Evora's Soundscape (1540 1910)" is financed through Portuguese national funds through FCT/MCTES and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through Compete 2020 - Competitiveness and Internationalization Operational Program (POCI), Grant Number: (PTDC/ARTPER/28584/2017). The authors would like to acknowledge project PASEV's partners for their support during the data collection, software development and testing of the tools and artefacts developed for the project.

N2 - A historical soundscape consists of the auditory memory of a place, a unique fraction of history that is recorded forever, recognized as cultural heritage. It changes over time, evolving in accordance with the social, cultural, and political history of the place. Thus, there are sounds in danger of extinction and others that appear essentially associated with technological development, of which the noise generated by means of transportation is an example. Likewise, the soundscape of a space changes according to the period of the day and the time of the year, being strongly related to the identity of a place. Due to its importance, the register of artifacts associated with historical soundscapes has been carried out as a way of studying, preserving, and sharing the cultural heritage of a place, also enhancing the experience of visiting these places, which contributes to the increase in tourism and consequently an improvement in the economy (examples of relevant projects being [14], [17], [18]). In this paper, we study and describe historical soundscapes requirements (not only sonorous, but also the relevant context requirements, such as social, spatial and historical ones) and to structure them in the form of a catalog. This catalog can support the development of applications created within the scope of Historical Soundscapes, assisting in the management of their information. As such, requirements engineering methodologies have been used to produce a first version of the catalog. The resulting work was evaluated through a survey answered by 20 participants and includes a user's guide of the proposed catalog.
