Abstract

In this work the design of a reverse distribution network is studied. Most of the proposed models on this subject are case based and, for that reason they are too much case dependent. In this paper we try to overcome this dependence and a generalized model is proposed. This considers the design of a generic reverse logistics network where capacity limitations, multi-products management and uncertainty on demands and returns of products are considered. The model applicability is illustrated by the solution of a small example.
