Abstract
Estas páginas procuram quer salientar a Geografia física presente em três romances de Vergílio Ferreira, quer apontar o Imaginário subjacente a esses espaços, esboçando a Imagem do Mundo em que algumas personagens se movem. Para este propósito usam-se os conceitos de Imaginário 3 e de mitoestilo registados por Helder Godinho em vários trabalhos dedicados ao romancista em análise.
Mas, acima de tudo, este breve ensaio visa celebrar o privilégio que foi poder usufruir de vários anos de seminários do grupo de Estudos Interdisciplinares sobre o Imaginário (EISI) que Helder Godinho promoveu e dirigiu e onde sempre procurou que os participantes se tornassem espíritos indagadores e desassossegados
quanto a ideias feitas.
These pages seek either to highlight the physical geography present in three
Vergílio Ferreira novels, or to point out the imagery underlying these spaces, outlining the Image of the World in which some characters move. For this purpose, the concepts of Imaginary 3 and “mitoestilo” (myth-style) recorded by Helder Godinho in several works dedicated to the novelist under analysis are used. But, above all, this brief essay aims to celebrate the privilege of being able to enjoy several years of seminars by the group of Interdisciplinary Studies on the Imaginary (EISI) that Helder Godinho directed and where he always sought to make the participants become inquisitive and restless spirits about made ideas.
