Abstract
Some brief notes, in line with the author's other reflections, in the sense of integrating archaeological praxis, and in particular that related to the so-called prehistory, in the context of contemporary
knowledge, problems and concerns. It defends the primacy of theory over practice (although they are inextricably linked), on the one hand, and the usefulness of separating these reflections from those related to historical archeology, on the other. It also aims to take another (small) step towards thinking prehistoric archeology in the framework of a way of looking at historicity that is compatible with a dialectical materialist perspective, in the (totally new) sense that the so-called “school of Ljubljana” gives this orientation.
