Abstract
In this paper we present a proposal for a thematic analysis of a text on wine, produced within oenological and commercial activities. Althought we assume as epistemological and methodological framework the socio-discursive interactionism (SDI), the analysis is done on the basis of thematic analysis tools provided by systemic-functional linguistics (SFL), focusing specifically on the concepts of subject (textual meaning, interpersonal and ideational - participant in a process, circumstance attendant in a process) and rheme. With this work we demonstrate to what extent the microlinguistical phrasal theme contributes to the thematic configuration of the text and guides to its interpretive process.
