Abstract
A Academia da Ciência, Arte e Património criada em 2013, no Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, é um projeto educativo que centra a sua atuação no estabelecimento de uma visão construtivista do conhecimento, nas áreas da Ciência, Cultura, Tecnologia, Arte e Património. Este projeto, destinado a um público com idades compreendidas entre os oito e catorze anos, tem por objetivo estimular a criatividade e a aprendizagem, através da observação, experimentação e construção, em ambiente laboratorial, promovendo a interdisciplinaridade. Este artigo descreve uma das áreas de intervenção deste projeto: Cultura, Turismo e Património, dinamizada pelos ciclos de estudos superiores em Turismo, procurando-se destacar o papel do Turismo na sensibilização e responsabilização dos participantes para as questões da preservação e proteção do património. Conclui-se a existência de uma experiência de sucesso pelo trabalho colaborativo de uma equipa multidisciplinar, havendo assim uma interação positiva entre o ensino superior politécnico e comunidade envolvente.
The Academy of Science, Art and Heritage created in 2013 at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, it is an educational project that focuses its activities on the establishment of a constructivist view of knowledge in the areas of Science, Culture, Technology, Arts and Heritage. This project, aimed at an audience aged between eight and fourteen, aims to encourage creativity and learning through observation, experimentation and construction, in laboratory environment, promoting interdisciplinarity. This article describes one of the areas of intervention of this project: Culture, Tourism and Heritage, promoted by the cycles of higher education in tourism, seeking to highlight the role of tourism in the awareness and responsibility of the participants to the issues of preservation and protection of heritage. It is concluded that there is a successful experience for the collaborative work of a multidisciplinary team, so there is a positive interaction between higher education and polytechnic surrounding community.
