Comunicação proferida pelo Senhor Ministro da Defesa Nacional, Prof. Doutor Nuno Severiano Teixeira, por ocasião da Conferência de Encerramento do Seminário “Portugal e a Aliança Atlântica”,que teve lugar no IDN no dia 26 de Março de 2009. Este Seminário foi organizado em conjunto peloIDN, pelo IESM, pelo Instituto Diplomático e pelo IPRI e realizou-se no âmbito das comemoraçõesdos “60 anos da NATO”.
The present text is a transcript of the speech given by the Portuguese National Defense Minister, Dr. Nuno Severiano Teixeira, in the “Closing Remarks” of the Seminar “Portugal and the Atlantic Alliance”, held in the National Defense Institute on the 26 of March 2009. This seminar was hosted by the NDI, the Military Institute of Superior Studies, the Diplomatic Institute and the Portuguese Institute of International Relations to celebrate NATO’s 60th anniversary.
