It is tested the 3D geological modelling in a very complex tectono-stratigraphic system, dominated by high shear gradients (Boa Fé Fault Zone). Software gOcad allowed the 3D modelling of carboniferous sub-intrusive rocks, hosted by mylonites associated to gold mineralizations and contributed to establish spatially/chronological relationships between these igneous bodies and the mineralized structures. The understanding of the spatial positioning of these rocks in relation to the deformation structures has important implications in tectonic interpretation of the mechanisms that generate spaces responsible for magmas ascending and emplacement.
