This FCT Mobility project privileges the study of overlooked artistic networks and circulations, considering their foundations, dynamics and practices of solidarity, while also contributing to enrich ongoing discussions on (1) modernisms and modernist narratives, (2) cosmopolitanism, artists migrations and the limits of national art histories, (3) social space and plain assumptions on center-periphery divides.
