Youtha Cuypers is an Assistant Professor in Strategy at Nova School of Business and Economics. Prior to joining Nova SBE, Youtha was Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong. She obtained her PhD in Organization and Strategy at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

Youtha’s research interests focus on mergers and acquisitions, international joint-ventures and supplier-buyer collaborations. Her work examines the determinants of relationship duration and the performance implications of inter-organizational collaboration and M&As, drawing in particular on research on experiential learning and experience spillovers.

Her work has appeared in one of the leading journals in management, i.e. the Strategic Management Journal, as well as having been presented at leading international academic conferences, where it has also received numerous awards, in addition to having been published in the Best Papers Proceedings of the Academy of Management Annual Conference.

Current research interest include: Strategy in Global Markets and International Business.
