Professor of the Department of Arts, Design and Animation of the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre, dedicated to the teaching of Communication Design and Typography. Researcher at CIC.Digital, with research interests in the links between design and digital media, exploited for more participatory and sustainable development. Holds a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, a Master's and PhD in Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Research interests
Studies in design and information visualization, centered on the role of design and digital technologies in displaying information more efficiently.
Associations between design and digital media, with a purpose to explore models of citizen participation towards a conscious and sustainable development.
