Assistant Professor in the areas of information management in health, digital health and information systems at the National School of Public Health of the Nova University of Lisbon and Coordinator of the Health Information Management Group of the Portuguese Association of Hospital Administrators. She holds a PhD in public health, having worked in recent years in the research and promotion of digital health, having in her curriculum several projects and PhD and Master students in the area.

She is also a Hospital Administrator having worked over the last few years in particular as CEO of the Red Cross Hospital, Member of the Hospital Center of Setúbal, Advisor for Innovation at the University Hospital Center of Lisbon Norte (CHULN) and Administrator of the Departments of Heart and Vessels and Pediatrics of CHULN.

She is a member of the Comprehensive Health Research Center of the Nova University of Lisbon and belongs to the EHMA Scientific Advisory Committee and the Innovation and Value and Sustainability Councils of the Nova University of Lisbon.
She was a consultant for Accenture in Portugal.
