Personal profile

Research interests

Energy conversion (especially contactless) using totally controlled devices, soft-switching techniques and super resonant frequency control. Solar and other renewable energies, drives and actuators, precise instrumentation and miniaturization of the power converters. Induction and other contactless heating of materials, recuperation of heat. Energy transfer (also contactless), energy harvesting from solar, thermal, mechanical and other renewable sources of energy, microminiaturized power converters. Electric vehicle: battery management, energy management, bi-directional and unidirectional (also contactless) energy transfer, etc. Bio-medical sensors, remote sensing and diagnostic equipment especially self-powered.
