SÍLVIA PINTO COELHO (PT, 1975)

Researcher at ICNOVA, FCSH-UNL (CEEC individual junior FCT), Choreographer, Dancer.
. Holds a PhD in Communication, with the thesis: Body, Image and Choreographic Thinking (2016), Communication and Arts PhD Program at FCSH, UN Lisbon, with a grant from FCT.
. Master's degree in Contemporary Culture and New Technologies (2010).
. License degree in Anthropology at FCSH-UNL (2005);
. Bachelor's degree in Dance Performance at ESD-IPL. (1996).
. Forum Dança intensive course for contemporary dancers (1997/1999).
Sílvia has presented her choreographic work across Portugal, in Berlin, where she lived for three years, and in Madrid. She has collaborated with various artists in choreographic research projects, pedagogy, and films.
Since 2019, Sílvia directs Interact Online Magazine - ICNOVA, FCSH, UNL.
From 2014-2019, she was an Invited teacher at FCSH, UNL, teaching the seminar Dance in Context in the master's degrees: Performing Arts and Communication and Arts.
