PhD Candidate in Political Science at NOVA University of Lisbon with an individual doctoral grant from the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (2017- ). Graduated in Public Administration (University of Aveiro) and Post-Graduate in Comparative Politics (ICS-University of Lisbon). He was a research fellow in the project The contexts of political behavior: electoral choices and political attitudes in Portugal, coordinated by Professors Pedro Magalhães and Marina Costa Lobo (ICS-UL), research assistant in the project Religious and Political Liberties, coordinated by Professor Andrew Gould, University of Notre Dame, and a member of the Portuguese team, led by Professor Carlos Jalali (University of Aveiro), in the international project The Professionalization of Election Campaigning around the World coordinated by Professor Jens Tenscher. Currently, a member of the research team of the project “From Representation to Legitimacy? Political Parties and Interest Groups in Southern Europe – RELEPAGI” (PTDC/IVC-CPO/1864/2014) led by Professor Marco Lisi (NOVA FCSH).
