Associate professor in the Department of Materials Science (DCM), NOVA School of Science and Technology, specialized in Metallurgy, and responsible for the lectures on metallic materials (physical metallurgy, heat treatments and corrosion engineering). Researcher at I3N / CENIMAT focusing on the microstructural characterization of metallic materials and other inorganic structural materials. His main research has been applied to shape memory alloys, welding metallurgy and archaeometallurgy studies.
