Personal information

I am a PhD candidate in Globalisation Studies at NOVA University of Lisbon, Portugal, Master’s in Modern History (2014-2016) at the same University, and Bachelor’s Degree in History at the State University of Maranhão, Brazil (2014). Researcher at the Portuguese Institute of International Relations (IPRI) and Núcleo de Estudos do Maranhão Oitocentista (NEMO; Brazil). My research interests are Globalisation Studies in historical perspective:  Brazil and Portugal; History of Amazonia; History of Science: the transit of intellectuals, and the spread of knowledge (18th/19th centuries).
