Pedro Miguel Oliveira Nunes

Pedro Miguel Oliveira Nunes. Professional Musician and Music Teacher at the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Lusofonia - IPLUSO - and at the Piaget Institute. Currently, he is also doing his Post-Doctorate at CESEM - Center for Sociology and Musical Aesthetics Studies at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences / Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In addition to his work, he is also Cultural Manager and Music Producer and the Presidency of the Vox Angelis Association, in which he creates and promotes concertos both in Portugal and abroad. In mainland Portugal alone, he has produced and sung, as a soloist, in more than 560 concerts, working, to date, with 230 Portuguese Municipal Councils, with which he has organized important tours as Soloist and Artistic Director: 250 Years of Mozart; Centenary of the Republic; National Celebrations of 500 Years of Manueline Charters; National Celebrations of the Centenary of Fátima; among others. In 2020-21, he held a major tour of 63 concerts throughout the national territory, as part of the Centenary of Amália Rodrigues (1920-2020). As a Solo Singer, he has sung with many orchestras, performed many operatic roles and his vocal versatility encompasses classical repertoire, opera, musical theater and fado.
