Research interests

Graduated in Medicine and doctorate in Pathophysiology. Presently, I am Assistant Professor of Pathophysiology and Chair of the Allergy Course Unit at Nova Medical School (FCM), Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Also work as Allergy Consultant at the main Lisbon paediatrics’ hospital (Hospital de Dona Estefânia, Lisbon, Portugal). I have participated in the design and execution of different projects on chronic respiratory diseases and air pollution in Portugal (as SAUDAR, ENVIRH, INSPIRAR, GERIA) and in Africa. At the moment, the main research interests are on chronic respiratory and allergic diseases.
