Consolidated management experience in IT Management across several sectors, IT Management Consulting, Management Consulting, IS/IT Internal Control and Compliance in the Financial Services, Higher Education, Logistics & Transportation, TELCO, Public Administration, Energy and Industry sectors.

Acting in Governance of Enterprise IT, IT Governance and IT Management in various markets and sectors, defining and helping implementing IT Strategic Plans, Consulting and Auditing, with a special insight in Corporate Governance, IT Governance and the alignment between both. Management Consulting, IT Consulting, Process Audit, Information Security, Internal Control, Quality Management and Innovation, Business Continuity and Compliance are also areas of concern.

Experienced in legacy Infrastructures and Systems, Business Processes transformation supported by technological disruptive transformation, the transformation to new disruptive business models has been a major goal in recent projects. Associated with my most recent lines of research, namely the relation between IT Governance mechanisms, Corporate Governance alignment, and most important, how proper IT Governance can support and enhance Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation, the resulting Change Management, and how the Technological Push can be absorbed and lever the Organization and its business model, sustaining them. Leadership experience in Corporate, Academic and Military environments. Internal Audit and Certification experience.

Member of the Advisory Board of CTIC – Portuguese Public Administration TIC Modernization Council – by Invitation of the Minister of the Presidency and Administrative Modernization.
