Paolo Stellino é investigador auxiliar do Instituto de Filosofia da NOVA (IFILNOVA) e professor convidado no Departamento de Filosofia da NOVA FCSH. As suas áreas de interesse são a história da filosofia (séculos XIX e XX, com especial atenção à filosofia de Friedrich Nietzsche),  a filosofia do cinema e a ética (em particular, a filosofia do suicídio).

É autor dos livros Nietzsche and Dostoevsky: On the Verge of Nihilism (Peter Lang, 2015; trad. grega: Govostis, 2020), Philosophical Perspectives on Suicide: Kant, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, and Wittgenstein (Palgrave, 2020), Nietzsche sullo schermo. Saggi di filosofia del cinema (Meltemi, 2025) e Nietzsche's Good European (Cambridge University Press, no prelo; co-autor: P. Gori), e co-editor de vários livros, entre os quais Nietzsche et le relativisme (Ousia, 2019), Violence and Nihilism (de Gruyter, 2022) e The Oxford Handbook of the Philosophy of Suicide (Oxford University Press, 2025). Tem publicado vários artigos em livros e em revistas internacionais.

Paolo Stellino is an Assistant Researcher at the NOVA Institute of Philosophy (IFILNOVA) and Invited Professor at the Department of Philosophy at NOVA FCSH. His areas of interest are the history of philosophy (19th and 20th centuries, with a particular focus on the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche), the philosophy of film, and ethics (in particular, the philosophy of suicide).

He is the author of the books Nietzsche and Dostoevsky: On the Verge of Nihilism (Peter Lang, 2015; Greek transl.: Govostis, 2020), Philosophical Perspectives on Suicide: Kant, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, and Wittgenstein (Palgrave, 2020), Nietzsche sullo schermo. Saggi di filosofia del cinema (Meltemi, 2025), and Nietzsche's Good European (Cambridge University Press, forth.; co-author: P. Gori), and co-editor of several volumes, including Nietzsche et le relativisme (Ousia, 2019), Violence and Nihilism (de Gruyter, 2022), and The Oxford Handbook of the Philosophy of Suicide (Oxford University Press, 2025). He has published numerous articles in books and international journals.
