His research focuses on Medieval Islamic Archeology, particularly in the study of settlement models, fortifications and material culture. She has a degree in History and Archeology, specializing in Archeology from the University of Évora. In 2015, he completed his Masters in Archeology at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon, with the dissertation: "The Islamic Presence in al-Qasr (Alcácer do Sal, Portugal): an analysis of urbanism and the defensive system", having obtained a final classification of Excellent. In 2023, he completed his PhD in History, specialization in Archeology, at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon, with the thesis: "The Organization of the Territory in the Southwest of the Gharb Al-Andalus - rural settlement and fortified landscapes in the kura of Alcácer do Sal", financially supported by the FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology (SFRH/BD/117606/2016; COVID/BD/151702/2021), having the jury in the final proof awarded the maximum grade of Very Good by unanimity. Participated as a volunteer in different archaeological interventions, having also participated in the organization of the 1st Congress of the Association of Portuguese Archaeologists, held at the National Library of Portugal, between the 21st and 23rd of November 2013. She was the archaeologist responsible for the technical and scientific direction of the archaeological work carried out in Alcácer do Sal, between 2020 and 2022, in the settlements of Vale de Trigo Castle, Alcaria de São Lourenço and Atalaias de Abul e Murta. She has published two books, six book chapters and ten articles in national and international journals.
