Maria del Val (Marival) Bolívar Oñoro was born in 1991 in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Spain).

Marival is a Margarita Salas Postdoctoral Fellow at NOVA School of Law. This innovative program is funded by the Spanish Government, NextGenerationEU, Plan de Recuperación Transforamación y Resilencia and the University of Alcala.

Marival graduated in law at the University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain) in 2014. She obtained an LLM in Torts (Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid, Spain), in 2017, and her Dual PhD (University of Alcalá – Maynooth University, Maynooth, Ireland), in 2021, after defending her dissertation: “The Right of People Living with HIV to Private Health Insurance in Spain”.
