Manuela Bocayuva is a lawyer and a PhD student at NOVA School of Law (Portugal). She holds a Law degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil). She earned a Master's degree in International Law and International Relations from the University of Lisbon Law School (Portugal) and a Master's degree in Law and Economics of the Sea from NOVA School of Law (Portugal). She is a researcher at the NOVA Ocean Knowledge Centre and at CEDIS. Her research areas are: Maritime and Seaport Law; International Law (Law of the Sea) and Environmental Law.
