Personal profile

Research interests

I develop novel concepts for Solar Energy technologies, related with the application of Nanophotonics and Quantum Nanostructures in Solar Cells, with the main aim of increasing their Photovoltaic efficiency and with the additional potential of: lowering their cost and weight, improving their mechanical flexibility and long-term stability.

Recently, I have also been advancing the field of Renewable Fuels (Artificial Photosynthesis) as a means of storing solar energy while also closing the carbon cycle via CO2 reutilization.
