Laura M. Esteves graduated in 2013 with an integrated master degree in Chemical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico from Universidade de Lisboa (IST/UL, Portugal) and completed her PhD in Chemistry from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF/Brazil) in February 2018. From March 2018 to May 2019 she was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Universidade Federal Fluminense (Chemical Engineering Department).  Since May 2019, she has been working as a researcher at LAQV@REQUIMTE at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (FCT/UNL, Portugal).   

Laura has published 8 articles, 5 in Scopus. 2 extra papers are submitted. Furthermore, 3 others are in their final preparation process. She has 23 communications presented in congresses, conferences and events (26% oral presentations) and juried 3 final projects (graduation students of chemical engineering). Laura has still co-supervised 1 MSc student, 4 chemical engineering students during their Chemical Engineering Project Dissertation and 2 undergraduate students in their scientific initiation activities. She has been team membered of 4 projects (3 in Brazil and 1 FCT/MEC ongoing in Portugal from her contract).
