Currently a PhD Candidate at the NOVA School of Law. FCT PhD Scholarship Holder. His research focuses on an international legal framework for space resource activities that includes benefit-sharing mechanisms. Graduated in Political Science and International Relations from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA University of Lisbon). Holds a Master's in International and European Law from the NOVA School of Law. His dissertation, entitled "The Principle of Common Heritage of Humankind in the Law of Outer Space", received a score of 18 (out of 20). Member of the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and Prospective-Member of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL). Researcher at CEDIS (R&D Centre on Law & Society) and at the Space Law Research Centre (SPARC - CEDIS), where he is also a member of the board of coordinators. Former intern at the Member States Relations and Partnerships Office (DG-SM) of the European Space Agency (ESA).
