Research activity per year
João Amador is an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at Nova School of Business and Economics where he teaches Macroeconomics and European Economy. He has also taught Microeconomics and Macroeconomics in other departments of Universidade Nova and in executive programs. He has completed his Ph.D. in Economics in 2000.
João Amador has been combining academic and policy-analysis activities. He works in the Economics and Research Department of Banco de Portugal since 2001. He has published several policy-papers issued by Banco de Portugal, as well as articles in international journals.
Current research interests include: International trade; Product market and productivity; Macroeconomics; Public finance; Portuguese Economy and European economy
