Jorge Sarraguça is Assistant Researcher at the Departament of Chemistry of Universidade Nova de Lisboa School of Science and Technology (FCT-UNL). He obtained his PhD in Chemistry from Universidade de Coimbra and was a pos-doc researcher at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universidade do Porto. He was a visiting researcher at the Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA), Brasil. He is a researcher in computational Chemistry and has published over 20 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. His research has covered different areas, such as the application of computational techniques to molecular systems with pharmaceutical applications and biological activity, computational techniques in analytical chemistry, and in art conservation studies
