Borne in 1972 in Aveiro, Dr.ª Isabel Ribau graduated in Chemistry (Bachelor) at Faculty of Sciences and Technology of University of Coimbra (UC) in jun 1995.
She completed in 2001 the Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Technologies at the Faculty of Pharmacy (Coimbra University), having completed her PhD in Sustainable Chemistry in 2014 (Universidade Nova de Lisbon, FCT). In the same year (2014), she completed also a Master degree in Teaching Physics and Chemistry (FCT, UNL) and in 2016 she concluded a Master degree in BioOrganic Chemistry (FCT, UNL). In 2018, she completed a PhD in Educational Sciences at UNL.
Since 2000 she has published articles in Bioelectrochemistry and in Educational Sciences field.
