Giulia Priora é Professora Auxiliar de Direito Privado na NOVA School of Law em Lisboa, onde ensina Direito da Propriedade Intelectual, Métodos de Investigação Jurídica e Políticas Digitais da UE. A sua investigação centra-se, sobretudo, no Direito de Autor, na Justiça Distributiva e na teoria, modelos legislativos e interpretação judicial da propriedade intelectual na inovação sustentável.

É Professora Convidada nas Universidades de Trento, Szeged e Vytautas Magnus; investigadora integrada no CEDIS (Centro de Investigação e Desenvolvimento sobre Direito e Sociedade); colaboradora permanente do Kluwer Copyright Blog; e investigadora afiliada do MJRC (Media and Journalism Research Center).

Antes de entrar para a NOVA School of Law, trabalhou como Investigadora pós-doutorada na Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies em Pisa, como Professora Convidada nas Universidades de Münster, Yangon, Bocconi e como Investigadora nas Columbia Law School, Universidades de Hamburgo e Bournemouth.

Giulia Priora is Assistant Professor in Private Law at NOVA School of Law Lisbon, where she teaches Intellectual Property Law, Legal Research Method, and EU Digital Policies. Her research focuses primarily on copyright law, distributive justice, and IP theories, regulatory models, and judicial interpretations for the sustainable innovation.

She is Guest Lecturer at the universities of Trento, Szeged, and Vytautas Magnus; permanent researcher at CEDIS (Centre for Research on Law and Society); permanent contributor at Kluwer Copyright Blog; and affiliated researcher at MJRC (Media and Journalism Research Center).

Before joining NOVA School of Law, she served as postdoctoral researcher at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, as Visiting Lecturer at the universities of Münster, Yangon, Bocconi, and as Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School, universities of Hamburg and Bournemouth.
