- Processamento de ligas metálicas : tratamentos térmicos de ligas ferrosas tratamentos termomecânicos de ligas com memória de forma, incluindo deformação plástica severa, produção de películas finas de ligas com memória de forma por pulverização catódica. - Simulação computacional do processamento de materiais. - Caracterização estrutural de materiais por difracção de raios X: análise do perfil de picos de difracção, estudo in situ do crescimento (por pulverização catódica) de películas finas. - Microfabricação.
Processing of metal alloys: heat treatment of ferrous alloys, thermomechanical treatments of shape memory alloys, including severe plastic deformation, shape memory alloy thin films production (sputtering) and characterization. X-ray diffraction structural characterization: peak profile analysis, in situ studies of sputter films growth and heat treatment of bulk shape memory alloys. Microfabrication.
