Personal information

Filippo De Tomasi, born in 1987 in Vicenza (Italy), currently resides and works in Lisbon (Portugal). He is an Integrated Researcher in the Culture, Mediation, and Arts group at the Institute of Communication (ICNOVA), a research unit of the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (FCSH/UNL). Additionally, he is a member of the Observatório Estudos Visuais e Arqueologia dos Media (EVAM) at ICNOVA.

He earned his Ph.D. in "Artistic Studies - Mediation and Arts" (2022) from FCSH/UNL and holds a degree in "Visual Arts" (2014) from Alma Mater Studiorum – Bologna University. His previous experience includes collaboration on various artistic projects. He has contributed articles to contemporary art magazines and academic journals and has actively participated in several national and international conferences.
