Felipe Xavier is a Brazilian researcher and visual artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. He is a PhD candidate in Artistic Studies – Art and Mediations at NOVA FCSH, holds a master’s degree in Multimedia/Culture and Art from the University of Porto, and a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication/Audiovisual from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He has completed advanced courses at the School of Visual Arts in New York (USA), Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazil), and FBAUP/University of Porto (Portugal). His work falls within the field of Humanities with a focus on Contemporary Art, and he is currently developing his doctoral thesis as a beneficiary of the Eutopia scholarship awarded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P., with the research theme centered around “precarity.”
