Fátima Trindade Neves holds a Ph.D. in Information Management from NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS) of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a degree in Geographic Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. As a Collaborator Researcher at MagIC (Information Management Research Center) and Nova Cidade Urban Analytics Lab at NOVA IMS, she contributes to research on information systems and urban analytics. With extensive experience in digital transformation, she has led national and international ICT projects as Head of the Information Technology Division at the Directorate-General of School Administration (Ministry of Education) and as Head of Smart Cities in the Municipality of Cascais, where she implemented strategies for managing the city as a smart territory. As a team leader of the Entrepreneur’s Balcony of the Agency for Administrative Modernization (AMA), she coordinated administrative simplification projects, managing key national platforms like the Citizen and Company Portals. Currently, as R&D Project Manager at the Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (IAPMEI), she focuses on information systems, AI, and data science. She is an Associate Editor of Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (Springer Nature) and a member of the Portuguese Association for Project Management (APOGEP), Wikimedia Portugal (WMPT), and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
